The Trails

When people view our candles, they are always intrigued to learn where the hiking trails our candles are named after  are located at.  Below is a quick info. guide to each of the trails, happy hiking!

Piestewa Peak (aka Squaw Peak) Trail:  One of our favorite hiking trails, located in Phoenix, east of the 51 highway.

Echo Canyon Trail: A fun and challenging trail, located in Phoenix, East of 44 st, North of Camelback Rd.

Thunder Mountain Trail (Capitol Butte trail):  A beautiful but challenging hike, located in NW of Sedona, North of Sunshine Ln.

Palo Verde Trail:  A long and beautiful hike, located in Tonto National Park, North of Fountain Hills, West of Bartlett Reservoir, running along Bartlett Lake.

Lost Goldmine Trail:  A hidden trail located in Tonto National Forest, East of Apache Junction.

Lime Mountain Trail (Reavis Ranch Trail):  Here we take liberty with the trail name, as it goes through Lime Mountain, but is known as the Reavis Ranch Trail, located in Tonto National Forest, NE of Apache Junction.

Dragonfly Trail:  A great little hike outside of Cave Creek, which isn't too strenuous,  and good for all ages and skill levels.  Right off of Spur Cross Rd., look for the brownish metal gate to enter the trailhead.

Balancing Rock Trail: Gorgeous but slightly lengthy hike (6 miles), featuring amazing views of Granite Mountain, greenery, and all sorts of birds; located near Prescott.

Pine Creek Trail:  A short but beautiful hike, with a waterfall at the end.  Lots of green, shade, and slippery rocks in parts near the water, located near Payson.

Painted Hills Trail:  A deceiving trail in parts, moderate challenge with some loose rock climbs, but a great view of the Metro-Tuscon area, and great wildflowers.
